Einstien

Say hello to Einstein. This distinguished gentleman was born in September 2022. He is back at Paws by no fault of his own. Known as Dakota when he was last with PAWS, September 2025, he was recovering from a bad case of mange. He is a healthy young dog and his fur is a charming patchwork that is thin on some of his body and medium/curly in other areas. His DNA was tested (adopter will receive a copy) and he is 40% toy/mini poodle and about 40% herding breeds. Both his parents had significant cattle dog DNA markers, and it comes through in his behavior. He really enjoyed herding goats, one by one, onto a ranch trailer. Just because! Einstein’s previous person worked from home; he is adjusting to his foster families outside the home work schedule. He is learning to spend the workday and sleep in a crate. He is good on a leash, loves fetch, playing keep-away, and will run zoomies or chase friends in the yard. Once he gets moderate exercise, he is ready to settle down and hangout near his people for tv time. He completed obedience training and knows sit, down, kennel, and give. He is a smart boy and quickly catches onto the household routine. He is a bit of a talker and will make some chirpy, whine noises at times.
